Michelin Guide-Recognized Dining in Portland

 

Opened in 2017, Can Font brings seasonal Spanish cuisine to Portland, Oregon, a food mecca in the United States. Chef Josep Videl brings his Michelin Guide-recognized restaurant and showcases a Catalan region menu to Portland's trendy Pearl District neighborhood.  

Can Font has teamed up with Movement Public Relations to garner traditional press, increase social media presence, and execute a celebrity and social media influencer integration campaign.  

 

 

Boba Tea Shop Opens a Restaurant Location in NW Portland

 

Opened in 2017, Toast La Tea opens its first restaurant location in Portland’s trendy Alphabet District. Owners Leo and Kathy share traditional Vietnamese and Asian Fusion dishes in a comfortable and family-focused restaurant. Additionally, the restaurant offers one-of-a-kind “adult” boba tea drinks and a full bar. Toast la Tea also has a boba tea house in Southeast Portland’s Jade District, which is known for its Asian markets and eateries.  

Movement Public Relations is tasked to garner traditional press, increase social media presence, and assist with on-the-ground grassroots marketing initiatives.  

 

Human Rights Campaign - Portland

 

The Human Rights Campaign represents a force of more than 3 million members and supporters nationwide. As the largest national lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer civil rights organization, HRC envisions a world where LGBTQ people are ensured of their basic equal rights, and can be open, honest and safe at home, at work and in the community.

 

 

RESTAURANT & HOSPITALITY

The Detour Bistro Bar, Culver City

The Detour Bistro Bar combines farm-to-table produce with California seasonal and European-inspired dishes to create a unique dining destination in Culver City. The new westside restaurant is the brick-and-mortar destination that belongs to Los Angeles locals and long-time caterers Ranni Kumgisky and Dane Pearson of Great Dane Catering and Events. The duo searches for fresh seasonal ingredients to create each weekly menu that keeps customers wanting more and coming back.

Willow Restaurant, Portland

Willow Restaurant is the new ‘barrier-breaking’ dining concept from acclaimed chefs, Doug Weiler and John Pickett, that focuses on simple, modern, Portland cuisine in a comfortable and inviting dinner-party setting. The restaurant will offer a market-driven prix fixe menu of six-courses using Pacific Northwest ingredients with creative techniques. Additionally, the duo is breaking down the wall between the chef and the guest in this intimate setting without servers.


TECHNOLOGY

Proof of Concept, Los angeles

Proof of Concept (PoC) is a tech demo event that brings together entrepreneurs & tech leaders with the general public to get mission critical feedback as consumers tinker, learn, and experience the latest technology that is evolving out of Silicon Beach. Proof of Concept curates both start-ups and existing companies in the field of technology, with various levels of funding, to bridge the gap that divides early prototypes inventors from their potential users in a public space, coined the “user space.” Created by Mike Juloya, the Proof of Concept premiered in 2015 with an Innovation Fair that took place at the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica, California, with an estimated attendance of more than 40,000 consumers.

Founded in 2005, Sammy Castro Design combines Architecture, Interior and Landscape design to create unique land-life-style spaces. The Los Angeles-based design team has completed more than 200 hospitality, commercial, and residential projects throughout the United States and Spain, primarily focusing on Southern California.
